Bloom is 10!
Bloom issue 1 was published with great trepidation and excitement in September 2018. We were lucky enough to entice brilliant talent, even back then, and we’ve asked four of our early contributors three things*:
1 To respond to the article they wrote three years ago
2 To reflect on how things have evolved in their work and life
3 To pick out any shifts they’ve noticed in the way we’re thinking and living
* And we’ve (loosely) answered the questions ourselves in the editor’s letter on page 1.

1 Cosmos was one of my favourite plants three years ago and it still is absolutely a favourite. I also still have Daucus carota in my flower field and I let it self seed everywhere. But the rose ‘Hot Chocolate’ has been banished – I still love it, but it’s the prickliest rose in the world and it was lethal to cut!
I’m very slowly escaping the rat race for the bucolic idyll that is living in my cottage and flower field. Three years ago
