HEN I last reported on the progress of the XJ8 [see , June 2021, p86], the bodyshop doing the job (Elite Accident and Repair Centre, in Batley, West Yorkshire) was swamped with post-pandemic work. Luck was not on our side when a week was allocated to work on the XJ8, only to find one of the staff at EARC had to isolate because his daughter had been sent home with a Covid case
