WOMEN WHO FARM change makers

THERE’S nothing quite like a lovely old village hall. In recent years, there’s been a resurgence of interest in reviving these once vital community spaces. One such hall is in the rural town of Pearces Creek, not far from our farm in the Northern Rivers of NSW. In 2019, Simon Winfield, along with some fellow farming neighbours, started up “Pearce Creek Talks”. A series of evenings hosted in the local hall with a focus on regenerative agriculture.
