Their garden is bursting with colour when actor Colin Salmon and his wife, artist Fiona Hawthorne, invite HELLO! into their stunning Edwardian home in West London.
“Colin got into gardening during lockdown,” smiles Fiona, rocking an emerald-green jumpsuit against the dynamic backdrop of her Notting Hill Carnival mural.
“He’s become good at it, too,” she continues, gesturing to the red, yellow and purple foliage tended by the prolific actor, whose roles include M’s enigmatic right-hand man, MI6 chief of staff Charles Robinson, in several James Bond films.
Now Fiona will showcase some vibrant work of her own as she makes her debut as an author, with two stunning new books based on her extraordinary childhood experiences in Hong Kong.
