    It’s 6:00 p.m., and Dr. Jessica Klejka (CLAY-kuh) has just arrived home from the Knik (Kuh-NICK) Veterinary Clinic. But her day isn’t over yet—it’s time to take her sled dogs for an evening training run. The dogs are excited as Klejka puts their booties on and hooks them to the sled. They’ll run 30 miles together before they turn in.
