YOUR HOME, YOUR WAY

WHEN JESSICA ABIAGOM was buying her five-bed Victorian semi-detached home she was intrigued by a space at the top of the house that the estate agent’s blurb had dismissed as ‘storage’. “I’d assumed it would just be a little cupboard,” she recalls. “But it was a huge loft. That sealed the deal as I immediately envisioned turning it into a bathroom.”

Glass panels (from Glass & Mirror Technology) divide the space into bathing and wet room on one side, with the WC and basin on the other. The Ovali bath (£1,641, by BC Designs) is the hero piece, its deep, chunky shape adding interest against the says Abiagom. “Make that a priority in your budget.”
