P3 starter rebuild

A friend recently acquired a tidy, P3-powered Ferguson TE-20 that had been standing unused for a couple of years. A fresh battery was fitted, but he couldn’t get any life out of the starter motor. With a forthcoming road run approaching and hopes to use the tractor on this, he contacted me for some help.
