JUST WILD ABOUT WILDLIFE

A recent YouGov Omnibus survey conducted by the Wildlife Gardening Forum, the UK’s only charity dedicated to wildlife-friendly gardening, found that 84% of people in Great Britain with a garden or private outdoor space are helping the birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife that lives there.

The survey of 2027 adults also revealed that: about one in six (17%) do ‘a lot’ for wildlife in their gardens; 91% of people believe that gardens are important places for wildlife; 87% like to see and hear wildlife in gardens; 88% think it is important
