To say I was eager for the new D-Max to arrive would be a slight understatement. Isuzu’s flagship pickup doesn’t need much of an introduction. The increasingly popular D-Max has had a bit of an evolutionary remodelling, aesthetically and mechanically.

The new D-Max comes in several flavours. As the blue beast was driven down the driveway, it was evident from the shiny two-tone 18in wheels that this was not an entry-level D-Max. This particular model is the DL40
