    I SOMETIMES AVOID writing about an iconic record for fear that it’s already overexposed. But At Fillmore East is so monumental and close to my heart that it’s unavoidable. It’s a great double-record set with a great cover. And who doesn’t like road cases?

    Released in 1971 on Capricorn Records, captures the Allman Brothers — guitarists Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, keyboardist/singer Gregg Allman, bassist Berry Oakley, and drummers delivers in spades.
