KNOT TYING & RIG MAKING

Although modern fluorocarbon is a little softer than the originals, those first stiff lines left a myth that it is difficult to knot and prone to sudden snapping under instant heavy load.

I think one of the issues with any inconsistent knotting results when tightening any knot (even with mono and especially with braid) by sliding it up dry and too quickly. Whenever you close a knot, do it slowly and steadily to avoid heat friction on the mainline
