SHAO ON CYBERSTER

recent article on industry website Car Design News includes an interview with SAIC back in 2017, is the culmination of his personal ambition to create a new MG sports car. In the article, he acknowledges the key role taken by the London design team, headed by Carl Gotham and Robert Lemmens, because, as he admits, the European team best understand the heritage and philosophy of sports cars, although the interior, home to an array of the latest technology, draws heavily upon SAIC’s growing expertise within China. We certainly look forward to the next step – a production version of Cyberster - and a return of the MG sports car.
