PATTERN NOTES

The sleeves are worked straight from the cuff to the armhole so that they blouse loosely over the cuff. Block the lace section of the sleeves to the dimensions given in the blocking diagram, taking care not to stretch the ribbing.

BACK

Using 2.75mm needles, cast on 114 (120:128:134:142:148:154:160:168:174) sts.

Row 1 (RS): K2, (P1, K1) to end.

Row 2: (P1, K1) to last 2 sts, P2. Cont in rib as set until work meas 8 (8:8:8:8:9:9:9:9:9) cm from cast-on edge, ending after a WS row.

Change to 3.25mm needles. Beg with a RS (knit) row, work 8 rows in st st, ending after a WS row.

Next row (RS dec): K1, SSK, K to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1. 2 sts dec’d.
