Who’s Who on the club and show scene

Q Which clubs have you been most involved with? Any official roles?

Barry Mills: The Yorkshire Canary Club (YCC) is my “home” club. I was introduced to it in the late 1970s by Harold Walton, who also supplied me with my first Yorkshire canaries. After attending two meetings, I found myself appointed secretary, treasurer and handbook editor. It was a steep learning curve at the time but over the years I have been proud to occupy all official roles including show secretary, show manager, chairman and president.
