Martin rocks the Ring!

IN AUSTRIA IT was a case of out with the old, in with the new. From the start of a turbulent 2020 season, there has been the feeling inside MotoGP that a new generation is upon us. There was further proof here, with Jorge Martin (Pramac Ducati) the latest name to suggest he will be keeping the very best occupied for the foreseeable future.

The 23-year old rookie was sublime around the Red Bull Ring’s lethal, armco-lined straights. Not only did he take pole and win in only his sixth MotoGP race, he became the sixth first-time winner in the past 13 months.
