As a regular exhibitor until March 2020, with the cancellation of all model railway shows, I suddenly found myself with plenty of time to spare. No longer was I preparing layouts during the week and spending the weekends away from home. So, the obvious solution was to build another layout.

Given that it wasn’t easy – and still isn’t in some cases – to obtain supplies of basics such as track, I had to rely on what I had to hand. Fortunately, over many years, I have accumulated a good stock of Peco points in both Code 100 and 75,
