School feeding an easy win for South Africa

Globally, school feeding schemes have become one of the most extensive social safety nets, according to the UN World Food Programme (WFP) report titled ‘State of School Feeding Worldwide 2020’.

One in every two schoolchildren, or 388 million children, receive school meals every day in at least 161 countries.
