Royal Mail’s latest stamp issue celebrates the beautiful and often surprising animals of our coastal seas and shores, with the UK waters and British Isles providing unique habitats for a multitude of species. There’s no particular anniversary being marked with this set, but it’s fair to say that the oceans around us, and how we look after them, are more vital than ever, especially for an island nation such as Britain.
