Illegal crypto mining operation run on PS4s
Ukranian crypto farm uses consoles to mine rare game characters.
In attempting to try and find the culprit siphoning off enough power to cause whole neighbourhoods in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia to lose power, local police stumbled on a large mining players and in-game currency. Officials from the power company (located next door to the mining operation) have not been disqualified as suspects yet.
