ROALD DAHL TOUR

• Cardiff, Wales – where Dahl was born and grew up, and attended the local Llandaff Cathedral all-boys Preparatory School from 1923 until 1925 – Roald tells the story of ‘the great and daring Mouse Plot’ in Boy: Tales of Childhood, and his childhood prank is thought to have inspired tales including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Twits and Matilda.

• Tenby, Wales – a young Dahl spent Easter holidays between 1920 and 1936 in Tenby with his mum and three sisters - they stayed at the Cabin, part of a Grade 2 Listed Blue Plaque property overlooking the harbour.

• Weston-super-Mare, Somerset – Dahl attended St Peter’s as ‘the first great adventure of my life’.
