Shand Stooshie

Italy has Veneto, the US has New England, and Scotland has… Livingstone. Perhaps not as entrenched in cycling lore as the home of Italian or American framebuilders it’s true, but Livingstone (population 57,000 and not to be confused with the city in Zambia) is where clothing company Endura calls home, and also Shand, maker of this bike here, the Stooshie.

But unlike the Colnagos or Parlees of this world, which farm out much of their making to overseas factories, everything Shand does is done in Scotland. It is a proper bike company, and the Stooshie is a proper bike.
