ast month I discussed values in relation to tone. These terms often get mixed up as there is a technical difference, but they do both loosely refer to the same thing in the grand scheme of colour theory. In case you missed it, tone describes the greyness of a colour whereas value describes how dark or light a colour is. When colours are shaded, they become greyer and darker simultaneously, in other words, the tone and the value increase at the same time, so you can see how these terms merge.
