    They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I certainly inherited the ‘petrolhead disease’ from my father, who taught me to drive his various cars and lorries from an early age. I’m also a royalist and always enjoy seeing the royal family in their Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars.

    My first boss ran a new Bentley Arnage. I was nineteen when I started working for him, and stayed with him for five years, during which time he allowed me to drive his cars. Naturally, I was hooked.

    I subsequently started my own garage during the credit crunch (bad timing, I know) and got to know a local shop owner called John, who had a few Rolls-Royces. He asked me to sell them on his behalf as
