Since the company emerged, each new project has caught the imagination of car enthusiasts across the board. Startling innovation and engineering excellence go hand-in-hand with John Kimmins and the rest of the team at SC.

We brought you a sneak preview of their biggest project to date – the Volt EV R300 – in the June 2021 issue. John had always had an ambition to build an electric Mini but he was very clear that only when the technology was there to do it, in terms of motor technology and the associated kit, batteries and support. Two years ago, the time was right.
