Right when social media is complaining that mirrorless camera lenses aren’t as small as they were intended to be, Nikon has introduced two ‘Micro’ lenses – the Nikkor Z MC 50 mm f/2.8 and Nikkor Z MC 105 mm f/2.8 – both designed for the Z-series Mirrorless cameras. The 50 mm Micro lens performs double duty – as a ‘normal’ lens (35 mm format) as well as a Micro lens allowing the user to capture small subjects at up to 1: 1 (life size) magnification.
