CHERRY PICKING

The Black Cherry Mini Cooper featured here, a lovely-looking car, belongs to Stephen Bowring. Stephen’s a recent convert to the Mini fold. He’d always liked Minis, yet he’d been more of a Ford XR2 and XR3i guy in his younger ‘boy racer’ days. “Fast Fords were more of my thing,” he admits, “they fitted the bill back then. But, in recent years, I found myself getting more and more drawn towards classics. I’d actually owned an MG Midget before the kids arrived, and I kind of fancied another. Then a good friend of mine, Carl English, pointed me in the direction of a 1990 Mini Cooper.”
