Mass Effect Leg endary Edition

One of the most celebrated western RPG series ever created, finally receives its long-overdue HD remaster, including all 3 games in the series, plus every single DLC ever created. Bioware, creators of Mass Effect, has been through some rough times recently following the failure and fan backlash for Anthem and the illconceived follow-up to the masterful trilogy, Mass Effect: Andromeda. Yet with the release of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Bioware shows once again why they were and still can be one of the most talented storytellers in gaming history.

Where It All Started

In 2007, Bioware unleashed the very first Mass Effect game on Xbox 360 and PC, it was revolutionary. It captured what made western RPGs great and featured an incredible story set across multiple star systems. You played as Shepard, a human Alliance commander, tasked with hunting down a rogue specter who threatens the very existence of the galaxy. Western Role Playing Games was always synonymous with Dungeons and Dragons and other fantasy heavy elements, and although Bioware created the fantastic Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, this new series was a brand new IP and told an incredible story.
