LONDON & SOUTHERN COUNTIES BS schedules of the specialist & rare variety open championship show, incorporating the young stock show, to be held on July 25 was posted to all paid-up members in late June, together with the June Newsletter, reports Rupert Redden, publicity officer.

More schedules can be obtained from chairman Ghalib Al-Nasser (01787 282 332 or email: ghalib.alnasser@gmail.com). Judges engaged for the show are Gavin Carter and Ian Standley. The venue had to be changed to Northiam Village Hall as the usual venue at Smallfield is currently used as a Covid vaccination centre. The society is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year since its foundation in 1941.

The membership rates are single £13, partnership at same address £15, other partnership £13 each, OAP and disabled £8 and junior £6.
