Think motorhomes and caravans in the UK and Swift will not be far from anyone’s thoughts. It has been producing leisure vehicles for 52 years and motorhomes for 32 of those. But back to today where the impact of the pandemic has had an unexpected benefit on the leisure vehicle industry. “Despite the bizarre year we’ve all just experienced, the British leisure vehicle market is going from strength to strength,” explains Nick Page, Swift’s Commercial Director. “It’s a really exciting period, with the booming popularity of the great British staycation introducing us to a more diverse audience, including younger demographics who are encountering the versatility and freedom of motorhoming for the first time.”
