sew your own
I was born and raised in Oregon in the US and grew up loving nature and the curiosities of the natural world. I now live in Seattle with my young family and feel so moved by the water and mountains that surround us here. I draw inspiration from the landscape – from grand, sweeping scenes to small flowers that grow in concrete cracks – and I combine these natural elements with influences from interior design to make embroidery patterns that give a sense of nature’s beautiful colours and shapes. I hope you find the methodical movements of pulling a needle and thread through fabric as meditative and soothing as I do.
