If you’re like me, you typically choose several “A” races throughout the year. Once those have been earmarked, you then build specific training blocks to arrive at these races in peak condition. Of course, you might also enter and compete in other races during the year, but the “A” races are your primary focus, and hard training and preparation goes into getting ready for these main events.
Well, that’s at least how things normally work.
