Getting sweet on honey

I’LL HAVE to admit it straightaway…I’m not a big fan of honey.

I do admire the naturalness and goodness of it and the fascinating way that bees produce the stuff. I even think that if I had the space I’d love to keep bees myself. Many of my friends swear by it and readily give me a list of reasons why they, and I, should consume it regularly.

However, I suppose one of the reasons that I am so ambivalent about honey is because I can’t decide whether I should regard it as a health product or just an alternative to jam or marmalade on my piece
