Tell Me Why

“My goodness, why?” It’s probably the question I’ve been asked the most over the 10 years I’ve been running ultramarathons. I’ve offered up a number of sarcastic responses as to why I partake in ultramarathons, such as, “I lost my car keys” or “I just felt like running.” I’m sure you can relate. While this is the most rewarding, unlimited and inclusive sport on earth, it usually feels like trying to explain how Bitcoin works when it comes to the why. So, why even try?
