• Premier Yarns Anti-Pilling Everyday medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (3½ oz/180 yds/100g per ball):

4 balls #100-02 cream

1 balls #100-73 charcoal

1 ball #100-52 chinchilla

• Size J/10/6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• 8 locking stitch markers in 2 colors

• ¾-inch buttons: 3 each pillow

• 14-inch square pillow form: 2

• Tapestry needle

GAUGE

8 rnds = 4 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Pillow front is worked from the center out in a square with turned rounds.

Back is worked in two pieces from the center out and then rows worked along overlap edge for opening to insert pillow form. One overlap edge has buttonholes for fastening opening closed.

SPECIAL STITCH

3-double crochet [Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, draw up a Ip, yo, draw through 2 Ips on hook] 3 times, yo, draw through all 4 lps on hook.
