The Yamaha Power Tuner App is a great addition that gives you loads of ability to customise the power delivery of your motorcycle. That is however if you know how to use it. Too many times I see people making maps or changing settings without any knowledge of what they’re doing.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I have seen people just turn all the figures in the mapping to +9 thinking that gives them max power. This is actually not the case and in most circumstances will actually dull down the power of the motorcycle to the point where it will rev up slower and loose that power hit off the bottom.
