It has to be said that Bedford engineers lacked foresight when they designed the TK back in the late ‘fifties. They could have pulled off a real coup by being the first British manufacturer to specify a tilt cab but, instead, they opted for a fixed cab with side engine access flaps, even though the TK cab lent itself perfectly to tilting.
