MASK UP

Whether you participate in them or not, protesting has been a vital part of democracy since it’s conception. How can one challenge the ideas of society unless you find others to back you up - to join their voice to yours? This is not a new concept, but in the context of the pandemic, it is one that is being questioned on all fronts. Is public opinion more important than public health? Does society need to be challenged beyond the scope of the present challenge of Covid-19?

Protests continued throughout lockdown, with many thousands believing that there are issues that must be raised, no matter the cost. Brighton group Mask Up was there throughout, handing out masks and sanitiser to all who wished to have their voices heard.
