    During a visit to Tasmania, Kevin Hoggett and wife Rika discovered the Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre, situated along a scenic drive by the Tamar River north of Launceston.

    Beaconsfield was a gold mining town where the last mine closed as recently as 2012.
