ULTRA-SHORT-THROW LASER PROJECTORS
Ultra-short-throw projectors are an attractive proposition: a projector sitting on a bench close to the wall, delivering a large-screen ‘TV-like’ experience with a convenience not available from a conventional projector that has to be pushed back in the room or hung on a ceiling.
This ‘laser TV’ styling of ultra-short-throw models has evolved rapidly. Since it’s going to work like a TV, shouldn’t it have speakers? Shouldn’t it be smart, like a TV? Yes it should. So that’s the idea here with Epson’s full-HD EH-LS300B, and the EH-LS500B (see opposite) with its 4K Enhancement technology. Do they deliver the promised new age of UST laser TV?
