IT’S been jolly boating weather, with a little too much of a hay-harvest breeze for the oars-people taking part in the Ullapool skiffs regatta. The course around a buoy was shortened from 2km to less than one as crews of five from a raft of Highland communities battled manfully—and whatever the equivalent is for ladies—in the choppy conditions.
