MARKET NEWS: New vs. secondhand?

THESE are strange times to be buying a car – any car. According to industry pundits, there’s a shortage of nearly-new motors because nobody was buying new ones last year due to COVID lockdown, while new ones are in short supply because of unavailability of components, again caused by COVID. Yet a scan of local forecourts, the internet and LRM classified ads indicates there are plenty of Land Rovers, old and new, for sale out there.
