Hand shears

HAND shears are not hard to find or purchase, but it is important to find the best ones to suit your needs. The shears you need to trim a hedge may not be ideal if you have topiary to trim. Where you have smaller plants you want to train and shape, the size and shape of the shears are important. There are many models labelled as topiary shears, ranging from single-handed ‘slippers’ through to models that may be called topiary shears, but are really more suited to trimming a hedge.
