BSSO Three Sisters

Just when we thought we were getting back to normal Covid struck again and the planned BSSO second round due to be held in Wales with BHR racing was doubtful, due to the continuing Covid restrictions. So, once again, the BSSO committee set about trying to pull the proverbial rabbit from the hat to get its members racing. With the full backing of the committee, a very determined Stephen Hamilton set about emailing, calling and cajoling people and delivered a (virtually) scooters-only meeting at the ‘spiritual home’ of Three Sisters circuit near Wigan – the first in more than 20 years.

With the Bantam club invited to help share the costs (and give scooter racers at least some break between races) the meeting was put together at VERY short notice, and until the ACU issued the all-important race permit it wouldn’t even be publicised, so things were all pretty last minute.
