BECOME A GWCT PATRON

WHY THE SCHEME?

n common with many charities, the GWCT was hit severely by the pandemic, which forced it to cancel most of its fundraising events. As a result, it had to delay important research projects. The idea fors February 2021 issue and calling for donations to the GWCT, raised a phenomenal £31,000, with many becoming regular donors at an average of £500 a year. This prompted the charity to honour the people who make this special commitment to support serious conservation research with the launch of the Patrons membership programme.
