Kyle Navin had been drifting through life without a purpose for far too long.
In high school he’d been a hockey star and, when he left, he joined his family’s rubbish collection business. He had a bright future ahead of him.
But before long, drug addictions had left Kyle, 29, in debt and he was increasingly distracted at work. His parents were upset they couldn’t get through to him, but they had no idea Kyle was working on an idea that would turn his life around.
In May 2015, Kyle sent a text message to his girlfriend Jennifer Valiante saying he had come up with the ‘perfect plan’ that would ‘solve every single problem and give us a wealthy, amazing life.’
