There are climbs that are famous for their place in Tour history; climbs that are famous for their extreme height and savagery; climbs that are famous for the splendour of their surroundings. This climb, however, is famous for its road.
No other road on the planet can match its joyous swoops and swirls, or the playful way it loops around and under itself like a tie knot.
