MODELTESTED: Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate AWD

PRICE: £48,145 POWERTRAIN: 72.6kWh battery, twin-motor, 302bhp

THIS is the top-spec Ioniq 5 Ultimate, with the largest battery and four-wheel drive. It costs £48,145, but in this test we’re putting list price to one side to some extent. All three cars are available in some form from £40,000-£50,000, and since we were limited on which cars were available for us to test, our verdict will take that into account. The only option on this test car was ‘Gravity Gold’ paint at £685.
