Yoder celebrates 20 years with strong spring sale

WAUTOMA, Wis. _ W. Yoder Auction celebrated its 20th year in business by selling 90 percent of the vehicles at its Spring Classic & Memorabilia Auction on May 21-22. Automotive and other memorabilia was sold both days and the 119 cars passed by the podium on Saturday.

The offerings ranged from Model Ts to motorhomes to military 6x6s to postwar milestones to used cars. In case you haven’t noticed, used car prices are up 10 percent this year, in part because computer chips needed to build new vehicles are in short supply.

New for 2021 was a 10 percent buyer’s fee on all purchases. Wayne Yoder also announced there will be a Fall Collector Car Auction this year. It’s scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18. By the
