■ TRAFFIC AND TRACTION: Relaying of the Nenagh branch continues with CWR being installed between Nenagh and Cloughjordan.GM No. 083 worked a CWR train from Portlaoise PW yard to the work site(s) on May 18. The train ran via Thurles and Limerick and, after being unloaded, returned to Portlaoise via Ballybrophy and Lisduff sidings. Further work required a total possession of the branch from June 7 to 21.
