British defeat or Zulu victory?) or on Sunday the 8 August at 12h30 for a two-course lunch and “THE BATTLE OF RORKE’S DRIFT” (22nd/23rd January 1879). An account of this epic defence against impossible odds. The Battle of Rorke’s Drift is immortalised by the 1963 movie Zulu which launched Michael Caine’s career.
